About

Steeped in Tradition
This Highland hotel is located 14 miles from Inverness in the thriving village of Drumnadrochit.
Dating back to around 1740, The Loch Ness Lodge Hotel was once the home of a Colonial Tea Planter.
This delightful hotel dates back to 1740 and is set in 8 acres of delightful woodland overlooking the legendary Loch Ness.
Adjacent to the hotel, and under the same ownership, is the popular visitor attraction Nessieland which celebrates the famous Loch Ness Monster.
We offer fifty, comfortable, well-appointed bedrooms. The historic wing of the hotel dates back to the eighteenth century and each room is etched with a touch of olde-worlde charm.
This wing of the hotel is also home to the Glenurquhart Suite with its magnificent views across the beautiful village of Drumnadrochit, and our truly romantic Honeymoon Suite, perfect for newlyweds, and those seeking a romantic break.
We also have ample, secure, free, supervised parking.

The Woodland and Orchard wings are more modern architecturally and offer a mix of delightful, well-appointed double/twin/triple and family rooms.
All of our rooms have en-suite facilities, flat-screen televisions, hospitality trays, telephones, and free wi-fi internet access at hotspots conveniently located around the hotel.
Our recently renovated superior rooms come complete with luxurious Scottish Fine Soap toiletries, a complementary drinks tray, fresh flowers, iPod docking stations and of course breath-taking views of the Highlands.
The hotel is open during the summer and autumn months and its charming location boasts beautiful views of both the village and the surrounding striking woodland area, where it’s not unusual to spot a famous Highland red deer or a bird of prey soaring above.
The hotel is a favourite spot for tourists, with Loch Ness Cruises, Horse Riding, Golf, Walking and Fishing amongst the many sports and activities available nearby, all of which can be arranged through the hotel.
